My Father’s Visit from Paradise

Personal Testimony by Joshua — A Man of Yahweh

Shalom, this is Joshua. Blessed I am — a man of Yahweh.

I am a man of Yahweh because the Spirit of Yahweh is upon me.
This is my personal life and my personal testimony.

For a long time, I did not share this testimony with the world because it was deeply personal.
However, today I decided to share it because I believe it will touch the hearts of the people of Yahweh and encourage them to seek His face and pray for their relatives who are not yet saved.

This testimony shall be called:

“My Father’s Visit from Paradise.”

My Background

To help you understand why Yahweh sent my father from Paradise to visit me, I must begin from the start.

I was born in the former Soviet Union and lived as an atheist — a pagan — as did my parents.
Both of my parents worked for the federal government as physicians.
My mother worked as a doctor in a clinic, and my father worked as a teacher and doctor in a high school.

In 1992, I left the former Soviet Union and moved to the United States, settling in Los Angeles, California.
Soon after, I joined an interdenominational church, and two years later, in 1994, I had a personal encounter with Yahweh.

He descended from Heaven, granted me repentance and forgiveness of sins, and four weeks later — in September 1994 — He baptized me with the Holy Spirit.
I began to speak in other tongues, to prophesy, and to see visions.
It was such a powerful, life-changing heavenly experience that it turned my life upside down.

Family Rejection and Prayer

Of course, I wrote a letter to my parents to share my experience and encounter with the living God.
But they did not accept my testimony.
They sent me a letter mocking me.

Yet, I did not give up.
I prayed to Yahweh for two years.

Then, in 1996, I heard His voice again.
Yahweh spoke to me and said:

“They shall not die, but repent.”

I blessed Yahweh for this comfort and for answering my prayer.

Persecution and Loss

Years passed, and in October 2015, I suffered heavy persecution from my own family.
My wife and children persecuted me and even put me in jail.
I was on probation for two years.

I lost my wife, my children, my home, my property — everything.
I became homeless, living in a truck and working as a truck driver.

For five days I would work on the road, and on Fridays, I tried to find a cheap motel to stay in for two days in order to keep the Sabbath.
Then on Sunday, I would return to the road.

You have to understand — the United States of America has become the most abominable and wicked nation in the world.
In the Bible, it is called “Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.”

Why Yahweh Calls America Babylon

One reason is idolatry — specifically pet idolatry.
People worship their pets, living and sleeping with dogs, cats, and pigs — an abomination before Yahweh.
They bring these animals into their beds, homes, and even hotels.
These animals carry disease and uncleanness.

This became a personal trial for me.

The Rash and the Prayer

For about six months, while staying in various motels, I developed a rash on my hands that became itchy and started spreading.
I thought it was poison ivy or poison oak.
I used soap and alcohol, but it did not help — it only spread.

I prayed to Yahweh, but He did not answer right away.
Eventually, I went to a local urgent care clinic.

The receptionist told me that even with insurance, it would cost $240 for the first visit.
The doctor would give me a cream, and if it didn’t work, I’d have to come back again for a “half-price” visit.

I left and said,

“Yahweh, this is robbery!
You are my healer, my physician, my provider.
Why should I pay $240 for a doctor who doesn’t even know what this rash is?
Yahweh, help me! Heal me from this rash.”

So I prayed earnestly.
Weeks passed.

Then, in June 2016, I had a heavenly experience that changed everything.

My Father’s Visit

One night, as I rented another motel room, I woke up in the middle of the night.
When I opened my eyes, I saw my father standing in front of me.

He looked about forty years old, wearing the same white shirt, short sleeves, black pants, and shoes that he used to wear when working at the high school.

Remember — in Paradise, not everyone wears white raiment.
White garments are for the righteous who bore fruit in holiness before death.

My father did not live a godly life. He died as a thief — but he repented before death.
So he appeared in simple earthly clothing, not in a white robe.

Those in Paradise live differently than those in the Kingdom of Heaven.

I looked at him and asked,

“Papa, do you know what this is?”

I pointed to my rash.

He looked at me and said,

“Yes, I do. It is scabies.”

Then he turned and left.

When I woke up in the morning, I praised Yahweh!

This was a heavenly blessing.

I was no longer concerned about the scabies — because now I knew that my father was not in hell, but in Paradise!

I rejoiced all day long, praising Yahweh.
To know my father was safe in Paradise filled me with unspeakable joy.

The Lesson and the Blessing

Here is the conclusion of my story:

If you are a godly person who repents of sin and lives a holy, righteous life, Yahweh will hear your prayers.
When you walk righteously, your prayers have power — Yahweh will answer them.

That is what happened for me.
Even though my parents once lived ungodly lives, Yahweh had mercy on them.
Through prayer and faith, Yahweh proved to me that they were not in hell but in Paradise.

Final Words of Encouragement

Live a holy and righteous life.
Love Yahweh with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.

Pray for your loved ones who do not yet know Yahweh.
He will have mercy on them and visit them — granting them repentance.

Then, when you die, you will see them again in the Kingdom of Heaven or in Paradise.
And that will be an unspeakable joy for eternity — one that no one can ever take away from you.

Such is the awesome power and mercy of Yahweh, for those who love His name and obey His Word.

May the Love of Yahweh Be Upon You.

Life everlasting to all who are called by His Name.
