Elohim Not LORD

“The Spirit of Yahweh is upon me, and He said to me:

"Let My people call Me Elohim (Hebrew: אֱלֹהִים [ʔɛloːˈhim]) — the Living God — but do not call Me “Lord” or “Baal” anymore, for it is an abomination unto Me."

Amen.

BAAL is a Hebrew word for LORD. It is a generic term for a pagan god or deity.

Jeremiah 23:26-27 KJV

26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
